EMDR Publications Database – Register

Dear Members

Following the launch of our EMDR Publications Database, we understand that some of you did not receive the email invitation to access the database.

If you haven’t received an email invitation and would like access to the database, here’s what you need to do next:

1)Go to Zotero and register for an account.  On the Register screen you will be asked to create a Username. Please use your first and last name with no space (e.g. JaneSmith) and fill in the rest of your details, before clicking Register.

2)You should then see a message on screen that says “Thanks for registering. We’ve sent an email to activate your account.” Go into the email account you have registered your Zotero account with, and you should have a “Welcome to Zotero” email, with a link in it to confirm your email address. Click on the link.

3)You should then see a screen saying “Success! You registered your Zotero account!” Now click on the “Groups” tab at the top of the screen – 3rd tab along from the left.

4)You should then see a screen with a Group Invitation to the EMDR Publications Database on the right-hand side of the screen. Click “Join” to accept the invitation.

5)Once you have done this, click on the “Web Library” tab (2nd tab along from the left) and you should see a Zotero library with the EMDR Publications Database listed on the left-hand side. Click on “EMDR Publications Database” to access it.

For further resources to help find your way around the EMDR Publications Database, please log in to the members’ area of the EMDR UK website https://emdrassociation.org.uk/members/publications-database/

For further support, see the Zotero guide here.

To get the most out of Zotero we suggest you download it to your computer. You can also use Zotero on the Web. The two versions work in sync with each other.

If you have any questions, please contact emdrdatabase@sheffield.ac.uk

Best wishes from the EMDR Publications Database Team @ScHARR, University of Sheffield
