This workshop will show ways of approaching what is recently called medically unexplained symptoms in general, and focus treating chronic migraine and fibromyalgia with EMDR.

Participants will learn to use the treatment protocols and will be able to access the scales used in EMDR Therapy of chronic migraine and fibromyalgia and will be able to follow the video demonstrations of the sessions.

● Case formulation and treatment planning with medically unexplained symptoms

● Treatment protocol with chronic headache and fibromyalgia

● Managing relationship problems related to chronic pain

Dr Zeynep Zat is EMDR Europe Accredited EMDR Trainer Candidate, Consultant, and Practitioner. Zeynep is an EMDR Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP) and TraumaticEpisode Protocol (G-TEP) Trainer. She is a counselling psychologist registered with the Health Care Profession Council (HCPC).

Zeynep is based in London and provides psychological services under her own company, Institute for Change. She works with adults, families, couples, and the young with various psychological difficulties, giving supervision and delivering training and workshops. Zeynep has a wide variety of EMDR experience including working with refuges, being involved with clinical research and has had a number of publications. She is a member of EMDR Association UK.
